[Be] My Bloody Valentine
February 8th, 2011
Because nothing says ‘I Love You’ quite like excessive gore, disembodied viscera and talking green spheroids, I’m pleased to present this weeks comic tweaked and reformatted as a DIY Valentine’s Day card for that special (or maybe not so special) someone in your life! Just download the handy PDF below, print onto card stock or heavy paper, cut from corner to corner where marked, fold along the dotted line and voila! a low cost and unique Wuv Day token for him/her/it!*

Oh you’re welcome.

So romantic but my wife wouldn’t appreciate the gory humour
Your warning would definitely apply…

This is splendid. I think leaving the original last line would have made it a bit darker and more threatening, which I quite like in a valentine’s card.

Tony - Wise… If in doubt, don’t try it out!
Darrin - Use with caution
JP Valentine’s could do with being a bit darker and more threatening! Funnily enough, when I changed the punchline to make this card, I liked it so much I changed the original strip – but then changed it back about five minutes later. I like both versions for different reasons – With this one I like the wider implication that there are of all sorts of gruesome Valentines day harbingers…

You are a legend,
This has already been printed – If this gets me in trouble I will claim that your warning was insufficient

My eldest son saw this and decided that it was the /ideal/ thing for class valentines day cards this year; see for proof (after copying, cutting out, and folding.)
Thank you!

Ciarán – The warning is quite clear – Just don’t use the card in an incorrect manner!
David- Excellent – You’re welcome!
